Occupational Therapists

Lea Ann Jordan, OTR, has 30 years of experience in the area of pediatrics. After graduating from Florida International University, she worked in various hospitals and schools including Georgetown University Hospital and Miami Children's Hospital where she spent time working in NICU's as well as with infants and children with a variety of diagnoses. She has spent time in schools such as United Cerebral Palsy in both New York City and Miami. Lea Ann became NDT trained in pediatrics in addition to becoming Sensory Integration Certified. In addition to these areas, she has spent many years working with oral motor and feeding and she combines various approaches in order to best serve infants and children with these types of problems. Lea Ann opened Center for Pediatric Therapy, Inc. in The Woodlands, Texas in July of 1994 and continues to maintain a full caseload of children. She resides in The Woodlands with her husband and two daughters, Rachel and Chelsea.

Kristine Pacheco, COTA, graduated from Lone Star Kingwood College Occupational Therapy Assistant Program in 2010. She has been a part of CPT for 5 years and has enjoyed working with the kids. She also works with geriatrics at a Skilled Nursing Facility. She is currently working on her Bachelors degree in Applied Science with a minor in psychology at Sam Houston State University.

Physical Therapists

Jill Wiprut, PT, is a native Minnesotan and a 1997 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. After graduating, she moved away from the cold and snow of the north, down to the beach, palm trees and sun of South Padre Island, TX. She also worked in Brownsville for three years. Jill moved to The Woodlands in July of 2001 and has worked at Center for Pediatric Therapy. She resides in The Woodlands with her husband and sons, Max and Alex.

Speech Therapists

Michelle Ketrick, M.A. CCC-SLP, has served as a speech-language pathologist and consultant in various hospitals, educational and private practice settings. She joined Center for Pediatric Therapy in September 1997. Michelle received her Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University in 1993 and her Master of Arts from the University of Houston in 1995. After finishing her internship and fellowship Michelle received her Certificate of Clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Michelle has specialized in the area of pediatrics since she graduated. She specializes in articulation, language, voice, fluency and oral motor/swallowing disorders. She resides in The Woodlands with her husband.

Kathy Romanowski, M.A. CCC-SLP, grew up in the historic town of Westminister, MA. Her academic experience began with a double major in Psychology and Speech Pathology at Worcester State College. Her husbands career ambitions required that the couple move to Texas.  Kathy received her Master Degree in 2001 from the University of Houston, graduating magna cum laude. She obtained her Certificate of Clinical Competence in 2003 from ASHA. She has a wide array of experience with disorders of articulation, phonological processing, auditory processing, specific language impairment, neurogenic disorders, voice, fluency and evaluation/rehabilitation of swallowing disorders. She has experience in many arenas including hospitals, acute care facilities, schools and private practices. She has experience in administration of modified barium swallow studies. Kathy has been with CPT since May 2005. She finds pediatric speech therapy to be the perfect niche which combines her love of children and providing therapy. Kathy lives in The Woodlands with her husband Chad and young daughter, Emma.


Erin Nava, M.S. CCC-SLP, graduated from Baylor University with her Bachelors of Science in Education degree in May of 2002. She obtained her Master's of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Woman's University in 2008 and the same year received her Certification of Clinical Competence from ASHA. Erin has worked in a variety of settings including the public school system for 9 years as well as home health and private practice for over 5 years. She has experience in many different areas of Speech Language Pathology including articulation, phonological processing, expressive and receptive language delays, voice and fluency disorders, tongue thrust and specific training in Apraxia Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy, and Oral Motor Therapy. She resides in Spring with her husband Carlos and two daughters, Ashlyn and Brooklyn.


Management

Laura Jarrett, Office Manager, Laura began with CPT in July 2005 as the Office Manager. She manages the front office. handling scheduling and billing. Along with many other functions, CPT could not run without her! She resides in Montgomery with her husband. Her son resides in New York City and works in musical theatre/personal training.
